Mavericks defeated Loughborough 43-42 in the City League Tournament Final. Loughborough defeated Knights - Black in one semi final while the Mavericks beat the Red Dragons in the other.

City League Overview
Overview
In Fall 2011, the Kingston Impact Basketball Club will launch our first ever Night League. Based on other developmental leagues around Canada, this 4 on 4 league will focus on providing players a competitive experience withouth the expense and long term commitment required by our Competitive program.
Played Monday nights at LaSalle S.S. and Bayridge S.S., parents,schools or groups are encouraged to form a team, practice and play in a fun and well organized environment .

When
The season will start following the first Monday after Thanksgiving and will finish in mid-December with a 1 day final tournament.
Team Registration/Formation
Teams will be registered on a per team basis only. Each player will be required to fill out a Player Registration form, signed by their legal guardian. Coach/team contact will be responsible for gathering player forms and submitting them along with the team registration form and payment prior to the start of the league.
- Cost is $595 per team.
- All players must be of Major Bantam (born in 1998) or younger age.
- Teams are required to register a minimum 8 players to a maximum of 12.
- 4 Players are required for a game otherwise the team automatically forfeits.
- Teams may be comprised of at most 2 team players playing in the OBA at the Major or Minor Bantam level.
- Practices are optional. Teams will be encouraged to practice at least 1 time per week. Gym time/equipment for practices will not be provided by the Impact. Coaches/Team will be obligated to find their own.
Games
Games will be played under modified FIBA rules.
- 4 on 4 play
- Cross court play for league possible full court for tournament
- 3 point shot is not in play
- Equal play will be enforced .
- Man to man defence only – no zone is allowed anywhere on the court.
- Carded Referees
- Will use a size 6 ball for both boys/girls.
Season
The league will be composed of a regular season followed by a end of season tournament. Seeding from the league games will be applied to the tournament format.
- 8 game regular season
- 3 game guarantee final tournament
- Standings/Schedule will be posted on website
- Games to be held Monday evenings at Bayridge S.S. and LaSalle S.S.

Deadline for submission of all forms and payment will be at the coaches meeting which will occur during the week of Oct 3-7, 2011.
