Note: the Ontario Basketball Association tie breaker method will be used if there are any ties in the standings during pool play.
Overtime
If a game is tied after regulation time, we will use a basketball form of a soccer shootout to determine the winner.
Each team is to select 3 shooters. Each shooter will take 2 free throws. This will alternate shooter from team 1, shooter from team 2 etc. After the 6 shots are taken, the total # of made shots is counted. The winning team, is the team with the most free throws. If still tied, 1 new shooter from each team will take 2 shots, this will continue until 1 team has made more than the other.
