JUEL/JUEL Prep Tryouts

August 20, 2014 – The Kingston Impact will be hosting tryouts for our Junior Elite League (JUEL) and Junior Elite Prep League (JUEL Prep) teams over the September 5-7, 2014 weekend.

The JUEL league is considered the top female high school age basketball development league in North America by many CIS/OCAA and NCAA coaches and the Kingston Impact are one of only 14 franchises from around Ontario that participate.

The Kingston Impact is reaching out to all high school age female athletes in the St. Lawrence Region who want to maximize their talents and challenge themselves by playing against the best competition in Canada.

Tryout Information

Note: All players must attend the Friday session. If you CANNOT make the Friday, you must contact the team contact prior to the tryout to determine options.

U16 JUEL Prep (Girls Born 1999 or younger)

U19 JUEL (Girls Born 1996-1998)

Bring with You

Please bring the following items:

  • Completed and Signed Competitive Registration Form
  • Kingston Impact reversible (if you do not have one, you will be required to purchase one for an additional $15)
  • Tryout fee (paid once):
    • $20 if you bring an Impact Reversible to wear.
    • $35 if a reversible is required to be purchased. 
    • Note: this is a one time fee. You do not have to pay for both sessions.
  • $100 cheque made out to "Kingston Impact Basketball Club" dated Sept 15, 2014. This will only be deposited if the player makes and accepts a position on a team.
  • Shoes/shorts - whatever you need to play your best.

Following the tryouts all players will be notified as to their standing. Upon receiving an offer, a player (and parent/guardian) has 48 hours to decide whether or not to accept. On acceptance the $100 deposit is non refundable.
