December 8, 2016 - he Major Atom boys played their first games of the season this weekend in Division 1 of the Chris Paulin Tournament in Ottawa. Their nervousness was apparent in their first game against Ottawa Next Level, which they lost. Regardless, they were able to develop a degree of confidence that they carried in to their next games against the Gloucester Wolverines and Ottawa Shooting Stars. Winning both, they set up a semi-final game with a team from Gatineau. Close throughout, they team needed to foul towards the end to try and close the gap, but dropped the game. Again the Impact bounced back and won the bronze against the Brantford Hawks.
