January 26, 2017 - Kingston Impact Major Bantam Girls earned silver this past weekend in Durham. Friday night the ladies faced a tough battle against the Woodbridge Lioness'. Tied 8-8 after the first quarter, the Impact settled down and went into half leading 26-15. Sunday's games were much tougher affairs; first the Impact played a Sudbury Jam team that would not go away easily. Leading 21-14 at half, Kingston let Sudbury battle back, after three quarters the score was 31-27, and Sudbury had the momentum. Impact hung on in the fourth, making the final 46-36. Chloe Cole and Kennedy Joyce chipped in with some timely scoring, contributing 8 points each.

The final game featured the hosts Durham City Chameleons against the Kingston Impact. Impact got down 10-6 after 1, and trailed 24-13 at the half. The third quarter was much more even, and the fourth saw the Impact make a run, closing the gap to 38-32. It was a balanced scoring attack with 9 of 11 Impact players hitting the score sheet.

Congrats ladies on a well played tournament, and hard fought final!
